A loose sheet, a visual schedule or a bound book?
- Loose-piece story
- A character and props move across a table or mat. Keep pieces together in an envelope. No binding is required.
- Visual schedule
- Picture cards show a sequence. Choose a few relevant cards and move a token after each pretend step. The order can change to suit your family.
- Complete quiet book
- A book needs actual activity pages, a stated page order, attachment instructions, binding and a way to keep loose pieces together when closed. A cover picture and some cutouts do not supply these parts.
Set up a short quiet-play session
- Choose one situation the child knows: getting ready, taking a trip or going to bed.
- Open the chosen activity’s contents and instructions. Print one paper format at 100% scale and color before cutting if desired.
- Start with the character and three or four props. Ask what happens first, next and last; add more pieces only when useful to the story.
- Count the pieces back into a labelled envelope. Keep different sets separate because clothes and furniture are not guaranteed to fit across packs.

A morning matching activity
The current morning pack offers four routine boards and eight cards. Match the pictures to their routine spaces.
A simple dress-up story
The bedtime-and-outing set is a dress-up pack rather than a bound book. Use its two outfits to tell a short getting-ready story.
A flat bedtime scene
The color-and-play bedroom is a separate room set with a girl and movable props. Keep the pieces in an envelope between play sessions.
Is a finished bound busy book included?
No. The current materials are printable boards, cards or flat play pieces. Binding and reusable attachment methods require your own materials; physical assembly testing is pending.
Do I need to laminate the pages?
No. Try the activity on ordinary paper first. If you later choose to laminate or add reusable fasteners, an adult should prepare the pieces and check the finished edges and attachments.
